Everett Catts is a veteran journalist with 28 years of experience, most of it with the Neighbor Newspapers in Atlanta. He started his career as a sports writer and editor, including a freelance gig with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and almost 2.5 years as sports editor of the Union-Recorder, a daily paper in Milledgeville, GA. In 2003 he switched to news and spent 15 years as editor of the Northside/Sandy Springs/Vinings Neighbor papers. He served nearly 2.5 years as brand editor of the Daily Report in Atlanta before being laid off, effective Jan. 1. Since then, he's freelanced for TobinInk, R. Henry PR, Thrower Marketing Group and two media outlets: Buckhead.com and Appen Media.
